Red Earth invites you to

Design Showcase / Featuring Studio MORA

@ F 342 A, 2nd floor, Lado Sarai, Old MB Road, ND -110030 (directions / map below)

On Sun 27 & Mon 28 May, 11 am to 8 pm

RSVP / Info: 41671100 / 41764054 / himanshu@site.redearthindia.com

 ————————————————————————————

We present Studio MORA’s unique Saree Collection, a celebration of the richness of Indian textiles. The sarees are hand-woven with pure cotton / silk yarns, and the interplay of rich textures and beautiful motifs makes each piece special. They incorporate several craft techniques like mashru, kadwa and brocade work.

Also showcasing the exclusive, first of its kind linen sarees: pure hand-woven luxury.

This is Studio Mora’s first showing in Delhi.

 ————————————————————————————

Born in 2008, Studio MORA (Marketing Organisation for Rural Artisans) is a small step to bring village based crafts and artisans in India to the mainstream, merging them seamlessly with contemporary design sensibilities. The journey takes us to craft-rich belts of rural India, discovering ancient techniques perfected by master craftsmen. MORA works towards creating sustainable rural employment for artisans, thus ushering in a revival of heritage, and creating a unique ensemble for the conscious design enthusiast.

 ————————————————————————————

Directions: Cross Crescent Mall, which faces Qutab Minar. Right after the mall, take the left turn that goes into the village, before the red light and the “Lamp Art” shop . As you turn, you will see a  tyre shop, and a Neem tree after that. Just after the tree, look out for small brown gate next to the shop “Internet Media” / opp Yamaha service centre.
